Rahat Ul Ain: An Innovative Virtual Fellowship Leveraging Global and Regional Mentorship to Foster Pediatric Neuro-Oncologists in LMICs

Rahat Ul Ain, Pediatric Neuro-Oncologist and Assistant Professor of Pediatric Hematology-Oncology at the University of Child Health Sciences, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“Starting the year with some truly delightful news – our paper on a first-of-its-kind Pediatric Neuro-Oncology Fellowship is now on PubMed with the Published Version. Al’Hamdolillah!

This work is especially meaningful to me as both an author and a fellow alumnus from the pioneer cohort of this program. Being part of an initiative that has helped shape structured training in Pediatric Neuro-Oncology in LMICs has been truly rewarding.

I am deeply grateful to the program directors Ibrahim Qaddoumi, Carlos Rodriguez-Galindo, Zeena Salman, Daniel Moreira, the mentors, my co-chief fellow Julia Hoveyan, co-fellows Alma Edith Benito Reséndiz, Ludi Dhyani Rahmartani, Anan (Lorna) Zhang, and coordinators Elizabeth DiNovis, Susan Ybarra for their unwavering support and collaboration.

Read the paper here.”
