Rahat Ul Ain: Embracing Adaptive Leadership in Pediatric Neuro-Oncology

Rahat Ul Ain, Pediatric Neuro-Oncologist and Assistant Professor of Pediatric Hematology-Oncology at the University of Child Health Sciences, shared a post on LinkedIn:

Leadership is the practice of mobilizing people to tackle tough challenges and thrive — Ronald Heifetz

I recently had the privilege of attending an insightful VPNOF Leadership Workshop at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital facilitated by Ashveena Gajeelee and Tajay Bongsa.

The session offered a deep exploration of adaptive leadership, emphasizing the importance of resilience, collaboration, and navigating complex change with purpose and empathy.

I am sincerely grateful to the distinguished speakers Ashveena Gajeelee and Tajay Bongsa for their valuable perspectives and to the program organizers St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital – ALSAC Carlos Rodriguez-Galindo, Ibrahim Qaddoumi and Elizabeth DiNovis for curating such a comprehensive and impactful learning experience.

I, alongwith the VPNOF Pediatric Neuro-Oncology leaders, look forward to applying these lessons and observing the long-term impact of this initiative in shaping stronger, more adaptive leadership practices in Pediatric Neuro-Oncology across the globe!
