“As Amgen begins our annual summer shutdown, I’m taking a moment to reflect on one of the highlights of the past few weeks: attending BIO 2026 in San Diego.
At BIO, I had the opportunity to connect with colleagues, partners, investors, and innovators from across the biotech industry. The conversations were energizing and wide-ranging – from emerging science, the evolving healthcare landscape and new partnership opportunities.
One theme stood out clearly: meaningful progress happens when diverse expertise comes together around a shared purpose – to serve patients.
I’m grateful for the conversations, the new connections and the opportunity to represent Amgen at such an important gathering for our industry. As we look ahead, I’m excited about the continued collaboration required to advance science and bring innovative medicines to patients around the world.
