R. Lor Randall, Professor and Chair Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at University of California, shared on LinkedIn:
“Honored to have co-chaired the 2026 TGCT Master Workshop alongside William Tap (Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center) and Emanuela Palmerini (University of Miami).
Over two days, an outstanding group of multidisciplinary experts came together in Chicago to discuss the latest advances, emerging therapies, and ongoing controversies in the management of tenosynovial giant cell tumor (TGCT).
What made this meeting particularly valuable was the open exchange of ideas. As treatment options continue to evolve, so do the questions surrounding patient selection, sequencing of therapy, long-term outcomes, and opportunities for future clinical investigation.
Grateful to all of the faculty who contributed their expertise and perspectives. Looking forward to the next phase of this collaboration as we work together to better define the remaining challenges and advance care for patients with TGCT.”
Emanuela Palmerini, Professor at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, shared R. Lor Randall’s post, adding:
“A great opportunity to discuss on multidisciplinary approach and patient reported outcomes along with patient journey in a rare condition!”
