“I am very honoured to serve for one year term as a Chair of American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) International Affairs Committee and to participate in the CEE Regional Council. Both roles are related to promoting the global role of ASCO and my activities which I have been involved in for many years.
During this year’s asco.org World Oncology Leaders Reunion, where Professor Iwona Lugowska and myself represented Poland, we also had the opportunity to discuss the challenges facing modern oncology focusing on reducing cancer care inequalities.
I believe that the active involvement of Polish experts in such global international organizations as American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) may strengthes partnerships, to work with distinguished experts across the world and support the implementation of modern oncological care for benefit of our patients.”
