Peter Slavin, President and Chief Executive Officer of Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and Health System shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Cedars-Sinai has acquired the Beverly Connection, a 10-acre site adjacent to our main campus, as part of a long-term strategy to meet the evolving healthcare needs of Los Angeles.
For decades, Cedars-Sinai has grown and evolved to serve a region that continues to expand in both size and complexity. This real estate acquisition provides future options to plan and revitalize our campus, ensuring we can continue to deliver advanced care and support our mission to heal, discover, educate and serve.
We do not anticipate any immediate changes to the Beverly Connection. The site will continue to operate as a retail shopping center as it does today while we take a deliberate and strategic approach to its future.
This moment reflects a continuation of the vision set by those who 50 years ago established Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. We are building on that leadership and planning to position our organization to serve our community for generations to come.”
