“Launching today – Behind the Breakthroughts: The women in science at Peter Mac.
Today, on International Day of Women and Girls in Science, we’re proud to launch a brand new exhibition celebrating the women who are driving life-changing cancer discoveries.
It offers a behind-the-scenes look at their groundbreaking work and its impact on patients’ lives. Their achievements remind us why it is so important to sustain momentum, nurture opportunities, and champion women in science — ensuring their insights and leadership continue to transform science and medicine for generations to come.
We’ll be sharing more stories from these incredible women between now and International Women’s Day, as we continue to celebrate the vital contribution of women to research, innovation and patient outcomes. Because when women lead in science, everyone benefits.
Exhibition now on Level 7. Thanks to our amazing contributors Dr Amanda Lee, Dr Katrina Woodford, Samantha Wieringa, A/Prof Catherine Mitchell, Dr Aparna Rao, Dr Kah Min Yap, and Emily Batterham.”
