“Great day in Stockholm Tuesday, when The National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen) hosted a Sweden-US Cancer Summit together with Karolinska Institutet. State Secretary Michaela Hollis and Satish Gopal National Cancer Institute (NCI) held introductionary remarks and the programme continued with a strong patient story by Birgitta Ohlsson Klamberg with experiences from both US and Sweden healthcare. Panels and break-out sessions were followed by signing a MOU between Karolinska Institutet and NYU Langone Health in the presence of the American ambassador to Sweden, Christine T.
Nice to meet also Clifford Hudis from American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) and many others like Ulrika Årehed Kågström, Karin Ekberg, Therese Lindé.
