International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer shared on LinkedIn:
“Congrats to Dr. Pedro Rocha, Medical Oncologist at Vall d’Hebron University Hospital! One of our 2025 Young Investigator Awardees!
Their project, Sex-Based Biomarkers and Molecular Profiles as Predictors of BiTEs Therapy Response in Small Cell Lung Cancer, explores sex-specific biomarkers of response to BiTE therapy in ES-SCLC. Using blood and tissue samples from our biobank, they will apply single-cell RNA and T-cell receptor sequencing to track immune changes during treatment, aiming to explain observed sex-based differences in efficacy and guide personalized therapy.
We’re excited to see where this research leads, way to go, Dr. Rocha!”
