“My scientific 2025 wrapped:
- completed medical oncology training
- started as a postdoc at Vall d’Hebron Institute of Oncology (VHIO)
- presented positive results of EFTISARC-NEO trial at Connective Tissue Oncology Society Annual meeting in Boca Raton
- served as a Chair of Young Oncologists Track at ESMO – European Society for Medical Oncology Congress in Berli
- 1 invited talk at ESMO Congress, 1 mini-oral discussant at ESMO Sarcoma and Rare Cancer Congress
- 1 first-author and 6 papers as co-author
- 2nd awared in ‘Złoty Skalpel’ for the EFTISARC-NEO trial
- organised 1st Polish Young Oncologists Foru
- – last (6th) year as ESMO Young Oncologists Committee member
- another year in the ESMO Communication Committee and the CTOS Communication Committe
- many other meetings, workshops, courses, peer reviews, etc.
Could I achieve more? Probably yes, but this year, I can finally say that I also had a work-life balance, I had time to celebrate successes and think about how to get the most out of failures. It was a very good year.
For 2026 I am not hoping or asking for more – I just want to enjoy science!”
