Advancing Cancer Control Support for Internally Displaced Persons in Nigeria – Patela Care Foundation

Patela Care Foundation (PCF) team, ably led by Mary Hanson, PCF Northern Coordinator, in collaboration with the National Commission for Refugees, Migrants and Internally Displaced Persons (NCFRMI), is humbled and honored to have had the opportunity to enrich lives.

The Foundation’s “Cancer Control in Persons of Concern Program” provided cancer control health education, psychosocial counseling, and relief materials to Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) at a camp in North Central Nigeria.

This commendable initiative spearheaded by PCF Executive Director Dr Foluke Sarimiye, Foluke Sarimiye has received excellent feedback and official letter of commendation from NCFRMI Agency.
The program has been consistently implemented by Patela Care Foundation since its establishment.

Earlier, Patela Care Foundation paid a courtesy visit to The Honorable Federal Commissioner of National Commission For Refugees Migrants and Internally Displaced.

The Honorable Federal Commissioner‘s commitment to excellent work ethics, well-being of staff and the safety, well-being and rehabilitation of Persons of Concern is exemplary and worthy of note.
