“Connecting the dots on discovering neoepitopes and our work on the cancer vaccine, over a decade quest Dot #1 Both Forbes and 60 Minutes highlighted our work in 2014 and 2015. Not many understood where we were going with this 47 second computer analysis of the tumor genome to discover what is now known as ‘Neoepitopes’, the personalized antigen targets on the tumor.
Until we could accomplish that fundamental science, nothing else matters. The efforts were met with skepticism but here we are in 2026 and without that AI platform, a vaccine cannot be created! So Dot 1 is the 60 minutes piece and the Forbes article. Now a decade later big Pharma enters the race!
