Pat Garcia-Gonzalez: Creating Systems in Service of People Where These Systems Did Not Exist

Pat Garcia-Gonzalez, Chief Executive Officer at The Max Foundation, shared on LinkedIn:

“This sentence jumped out at me: ‘Novartis was built by people who were willing to do things nobody had done before‘. I have witnessed this to be true and fully agree with Vas Narasimhan. For more than 25 years, The Max Foundation has partnered with Novartis because we share a core belief: geography should not determine destiny. I have been witness to the commitment and unwavering support of every individual working at the company, and I have seen what is possible when science and compassion come together in the service of patients, especially those most in need.

Not for one minuted I have taken for granted the trust, as twice in the past two decades we embarked together to do something that had never been done before: creating systems in service of people where these systems did not exist.

I hope these efforts encourage others in the industry to lead with courage and create deeper impact on the lives of thousands more families in the years ahead.”

The Max Foundation shared a post by Pat Garcia-Gonzalez, Chief Executive Officer at The Max Foundation, on LinkedIn, adding:

“Honored to be part of this moment as Novartis celebrates 30 years of innovation and impact.

For more than two decades, our partnership has demonstrated what’s possible when science and compassion come together in the service of patients.

We look forward to broader collaboration in the years ahead.”
