“I had the privilege of meeting twin brothers, Juan Sebastian (left in photo) and Juan Pablo, in Guatemala last year.
Juan Sebastian was diagnosed with chronic myeloid leukemia in March 2025. Thanks to support from his family and The Max Foundation, he was able to receive treatment and recover from the symptoms he was experiencing.
I was struck by the concern and joy that his brother, Juan Pablo, also expressed. Both shared that the experience had strengthened their bonds with each other and those around them.
For my birthday on July 28, join me in supporting more people like Juan Sebastian in Guatemala. Every dollar you give will unlock treatment and hope for one more family.”
