Paolo Tarantino, Clinical Research Fellow at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, shared on X:
“Tucatinib is now approved with HP for maintenance after induction treatment for HER2+ MBC.
The type of induction is not specified. How would you treat a 58 years old patient with de-novo HR-/HER2+ MBC that has received 1L T-DXd/P for 18 months with CR but is not tolerating well?”
He added voting with options:
- Dose-reduce T-DXd and go on,
- Switch to HP + tucatinib,
- Switch to HP alone.
