Orazio Vittorio: Awareness is Not Just About Wearing a Ribbon

“September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. And today, here in Australia, it’s also Father’s Day. While many dads are lucky enough to spend the day with their children, I can’t help but think of the fathers who can’t hug their kids because of cancer.
To those dads walking hospital corridors, sitting through long treatments, your courage and love do not go unnoticed.
Awareness is not just about wearing a ribbon. It’s about remembering these families, supporting research, and working towards a time when no parent has to face this pain.”
