Olubukola Ayodele։ Excited to be Speaking at London Global Cancer Week 2026!

Olubukola Ayodele, London Global Cancer Week at Co-Convenor (Co-Chair), shared on LinkedIn:

“The giants of global oncology are coming to London next Friday. Will you be joining us?

On Friday 6 November, London Global Cancer Week 2026 will bring together an exceptional group of global oncology leaders, researchers, policymakers, clinicians, patient advocates and community leaders at King’s College London.

Our theme this year is: Global Partnerships for Equitable Cancer Care: Moving From Local Insight to Worldwide Impact.

Over the past few months, we have worked hard to bring together people who are not only leading important work in global oncology but are actively building partnerships and challenging inequalities in cancer care.

We will be joined by leaders from leading academic institutions, international cancer organisations and patient advocacy networks.

Together, we will explore:

  • What transdisciplinary global cancer partnerships look like in practice.
  • Lessons from successful Global South–Global North collaborations.
  • How to build equitable international research partnerships, including fair leadership, authorship and data governance.
  • How to develop cancer literacy initiatives WITH communities rather than FOR them.
  • How to translate global cancer equity commitments into meaningful policy and action.

There will also be interactive breakout sessions, opportunities to learn from established international collaborations and, importantly, time to network and build new relationships.

This is not simply another conference where we discuss the problems facing global cancer care.

We want to explore practical solutions, learn from one another and identify opportunities to work together.

As I often say, no single country, institution or individual can address the global cancer challenge alone.

Whether you are a clinician, researcher, policymaker, student, patient advocate, charity leader or simply passionate about improving cancer care, there is a place for you in this conversation.
