“We owe it to our patients to keep learning.
I’m proud and grateful to share that I have completed the CAS in Gynaecological Cancers with the European School of Oncology (ESO) and University of Italian-speaking Switzerland (USI), concluding this journey in Lugano, Switzerland.
Gynaecological oncology has always been an area close to my heart a field I want to understand more deeply so I can better serve the women in my care.
This experience has reinforced my belief that continuous learning is part of our responsibility as physicians. Every discussion, challenging case, and exchange with colleagues is an opportunity to strengthen our clinical judgment and bring that knowledge back to our patients.
My heartfelt thanks to Professors Ilaria Colombo, Alina Sturdza, Andrea Papadia, and Cristiana Sessa for their dedication, generosity in sharing their expertise, and continuous support throughout the programme.
A special thank you to Alexandra Zampetti Zampetti for her tireless efforts, thoughtful organisation, and support at every stage of the course.
Last but certainly not least, I am deeply grateful to my Head of Department, Dr Syed Hammad Tirmazy, who has supported and encouraged me from day one. Having a leader who believes in your growth makes a lasting difference.
I leave Switzerland with deeper knowledge, valued connections, and a renewed commitment to better cancer care.
