“Prevention is better than cure: the power of vaccination and public health
As a family doctor and promoter of flu vaccination, Dr. Kong believes in the importance of vaccination. ‘Hong Kong people live longer, which is inseparable from high vaccination rates, especially childhood vaccines.’ He pointed out.
At present, the vaccination rate of infants and young children in Hong Kong is over 95%, and various infectious diseases such as hepatitis B and measles have been successfully prevented, laying the foundation for national health.
A well-established medical system, coupled with proactive preventive measures, is the fundamental guarantee for the longevity of Hong Kong people.”
