“Meet our keynote speaker

Prof. Dr. Nosratollah Zarghami Soltanahmadi Professor of Medical Biochemistry Faculty of Medicine İstanbul Aydın University, Türkiye Prof.

Professor Dr. Nosratollah Zarghami Soltanahmadi is an academic and biomedical researcher whose work spans cancer nanotechnology, targeted drug-delivery systems, molecular cancer research, and tissue engineering.

His research focuses on developing nanotechnology-based approaches for cancer diagnosis and treatment, including nanoparticle-mediated drug delivery and molecular targeting strategies. He obtained his bachelor’s degree from the University of Tabriz in 1989, a medical sciences degree from Tabriz University of Medical Sciences in 1990, and his doctorate from the University of Toronto in 1997. He subsequently attained the rank of Associate Professor at Tabriz University of Medical Sciences in 2004 and Professor in 2008. His research contributions include studies on nanomedicine, breast and colorectal cancer, targeted cancer therapeutics, molecular biomarkers, stem cells, and regenerative medicine.

His published work also explores innovative drug-delivery platforms designed to improve the targeted delivery of therapeutic agents and investigate potential applications in cancer treatment. Through his academic and research activities, Prof. Dr. Zarghami Soltanahmadi contributes to scientific investigation at the intersection of nanotechnology, biomedical sciences, and translational cancer research.

We are honoured to welcome Prof. Dr. Nosratollah Zarghami Soltanahmadi from Istanbul Aydın University, Türkiye, to the IHCRI Rwanda Cancer Webinar Series during London Global Cancer Week 2026. His research in cancer nanotechnology, targeted drug delivery, and molecular approaches to cancer treatment brings valuable scientific perspectives to our discussions on advancing global cancer research and strengthening international collaboration.”
