“Pulmonary embolism is a serious risk for people with colorectal cancer.
Cancer increases the likelihood of dangerous blood clots, and in some cases, a pulmonary embolism is an early complication of the disease or its treatment. Recognizing symptoms early can be lifesaving. Awareness saves lives. Research makes prevention possible.”
