“What happened in 2025 is something that I could probably have never imagined would be possible or may have just dreamed about when I started my full time faculty role 17+ years ago. Being a faculty at the 3 major international meetings pertinent to clinical lung cancer namely the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) annual meeting, the ESMO – European Society for Medical Oncology Congress and the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer World Conference on Lung Cancer(listed in alphabetical order) happened in this year.
Not to forget a mini-oral presentation (one of 12) at the first ever ESMO – European Society for Medical Oncology Digital Oncology & Artificial Intelligence Congress. Faculty roles ranged almost the full spectrum in context of lung cancer care namely speaking on screening and prevention, diagnostics and molecular profiling, staging and therapeutics/treatment.
I sincerely thank all the people (professional and personal) whose support and good wishes made this possible. Time to sign off.”
