“Europe has made real progress on cancer policy in recent years. But the hardest part starts now, as Member States work to make sure that progress reaches patients in every country.

This is why I am pleased to share that the upcoming European Cancer Forum, organized by MSD and esteemed partners will take place in Brussels on 2 December under the theme ‘From EU priorities to national delivery: Advancing cancer policy in Europe’.

Together with stakeholders from across the region, we will discuss how to finance innovation sustainably, how to make national cancer plans work in practice, and how to close the gap in women’s cancer care.

I am looking forward to hearing different perspectives and finding actionable solutions together during this important gathering!
