Mohammad Adileh, Director of the Surgical Oncology Division at Burjeel Cancer Institute, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“I am truly honored to be appointed as Director of the Surgical Oncology Division at Burjeel Cancer Institute (BCI).
While my journey at Burjeel has not been long, it has been deeply meaningful. With the support of colleagues and leadership, I have experienced significant professional and personal growth in a very short time.
Burjeel Cancer Institute already stands at the forefront of surgical oncology services, across all disciplines and hospitals—delivering state-of-the-art, high-quality care to our patients. What makes this truly special is the strength of our teams: a comprehensive, multidisciplinary network of surgical oncologists and subspecialists working in unison.
In a relatively short time, we have also achieved important milestones:
- The first robotic HIPEC procedure in the UAE
- The first Hepatic Arterial Infusion Pump (HAIP) program in the GCC
- The first robotic HAIP implantation in the GCC
These achievements reflect the collective excellence of the teams around us.
I look forward to working closely with all surgical oncology subspecialties across the Burjeel network—driving growth, advancing innovation, and further strengthening our position as a regional leader in surgical oncology. It is a privilege to help orchestrate the next phase of expansion, collaboration, and impact for our patients.
The journey is just beginning.
With sincere appreciation to those who have placed their trust and support in me.”
