“The World Health Organization strategy for eliminating cervical cancer outlines three clear milestones:
- Vaccinating 90% of girls by age 15.
- Screening 70% of women with high-performance tests.
- Ensuring 90% of women identified with the disease receive the care they need.
Adopting a single-dose HPV schedule is a strategic accelerant for these milestones. By streamlining logistics and halving costs, this evidence-based approach overcomes delivery barriers to reach the 90% vaccination threshold while reallocating resources toward high-performance screening and sustainable treatment.
