“Have you ever wondered what would happen if you put the lived experiences and needs of young people at the heart of everything you do?
Well, no need to look any further.
This is exactly what it looks like.
Two weeks ago, the first Youth Cancer Council meeting took place in Berlin, where 25 young people from 16 countries came together to drive real, meaningful change as part of the Youth Cancer Network project.
From an introduction to the project, to bold ideas, true inclusivity in everything we do, and a shared commitment to collaboration and consensus over the next 3 years, we are more than ready to challenge the stigma around cancer in the AYA community.
This is just the beginning.
