“Do you remember the 21st night of September?
September 21st, 2017. Sure do.
That was the day after our oldest daughter, then 2, was diagnosed with leukemia and her younger sister had her 1st birthday cake on the floor of Boston Children’s Hospital.
9 years.
We just blew out the ’10’ birthday candles over pancakes before school this morning. We have come a long way.
This year BDO USA is walking the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute Jimmy Fund Walk. After a long hiatus, and a slight bit of PTSD, I am joining our Boston office team to raise funds for the family we never knew, or wanted to, who saved our kiddo.
