“In between sprinting from one scientific meeting to the next and having the chance to talk AI in breast oncology with one of the true giants of our field, the theme of my day ended up being something else:
Mentorship.
I got to reconnect with many of the mentors and teachers who helped shape me during residency and fellowship. Then later, multiple oppurtunities to sit down and talk with many medical students, residents, and fellows. And finally ending the night with good friends and colleagues!
None of us get here alone.
The best way to thank our mentors is to become one.
