Martha Wanjiru, Nurse Educator and ToT in Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening and Treatment of Precancerous Lesions Screening, Cervical Advocate and Champion Kiambu County, Kenya, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“I had the privilege of participating in a Cervical Cancer Screen-and-Treat Mentorship organized by the Ministry of Health Kenya through the National Cancer Control Program.
The mentorship strengthened the capacity of healthcare providers in cervical cancer screening, early detection, and treatment of precancerous lesions. It was encouraging to see strong referral systems, dedicated health workers, and continued mentorship supporting quality services.
Mentorship and collaboration remain key in accelerating progress toward cervical cancer elimination and ensuring that more women access life-saving screening and treatment.”
