Martha Wanjiru: Strengthening Capacity in Cervical Cancer Prevention at the KOGS Pre-Congress Session

Martha Wanjiru, Nurse Educator and ToT in Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening and Treatment of Precancerous Lesions Screening, Cervical Advocate and Champion Kiambu County, Kenya, shared a post on LinkedIn:

” I am honored to have participated in the KOGS 50 Pre-Congress Session on “Preinvasive Disease of the Lower Genital Tract: Improving Capacity.”

This learning opportunity strengthened my knowledge and skills in the prevention, early detection, and management of preinvasive diseases, which are critical in the fight against cervical cancer.

As a nurse dedicated to breast and cervical cancer screening and treatment of precancerous lesions, I remain committed to improving capacity among health workers and expanding access to life-saving screening services both in the hospital and community.

Continuous learning empowers us to detect disease earlier, treat effectively, and ultimately save more lives.”
