Mark Lawler: Great 1st Day at the All-Island Cancer Data Forum

Mark Lawler, Associate Director of Postgraduate Studies, Chair in Translational Cancer Genomics, and Professor of Digital Health at Queen’s University Belfast, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“Great First Day at the All-Island Cancer Data Forum! We brought together the community to hear from national and international experts and plan how best to deploy cancer data in research and innovation activities that can benefit patients, society, and the economy. Exciting time to be in cancer data research and innovation on the island

Particular thanks to Minister Mike Nesbitt, who launched the Forum, and for support from Mike Farrar, Helen McCarthy, Grainne Gorman, Aoife McLysaght, and Adrian Johnston MBE in what was a really engaging day. Watch this space for next steps!
