Mario Balsa: High NRF2 Activity Could Identify Inflamed T-cell Tumors, Associated With a Lower Response to Anti-PD-1

Mario Balsa, Medical Oncologist at Hospital Clínic de Barcelona, shared on X:

“Today has been one of those moments that make a congress special!

Today I have presented as an oral communication in SEOM26 our work on NRF2 and adaptive immune resistance in metastatic T-cell inflamed melanoma.

The finding: high NRF2 activity could identify inflamed T-cell tumors, but associated with a lower response to anti-PD-1.

Very proud to be able to share this work in the main national congress of our specialty!

Thank you to the whole team, Grupo Español Multidisciplinar de Melanoma GEM and Sociedad Española de Oncología Médica (SEOM).”
