Marianne Sarcich։ Don’t Disappear When Someone You Love Is Diagnosed With Cancer

Marianne Sarcich, Founder of Breast Health 101 with Marianne, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“For all of you who don’t know what to say or do when a loved one is diagnosed with any cancer, but especially an incurable one like metastatic breast cancer, disappearing from their lives without a word should never be the choice you make.

If only you knew the emotional damage that choice causes the person who’s already so very fragile from what they are dealing with. Now without you.

Not knowing is understandable and okay. Silent company is sometimes exactly what we want. Asking us is always okay. Just don’t disappear.

Many thanks to the extraordinary writing of Abigail Johnston.”
