Mădălina Iamandei, Executive Director at All.Can International, FH Europe Foundation Patient Ambassador shared a post on LinkedIn:
“I was pleased to represent All.Can International today at the European Parliament during the ECHoS, Establishing of Cancer Mission Hubs: Networks and Synergies Business Lunch.
The discussion reinforced a critical point: Mission Hubs can help turn EU ambition into practical implementation at national and regional level. But what stood out to me is that this approach is not about creating additional structures.
It is about working with the same resources in a more coordinated and efficient way. By strengthening bidirectional communication between EU and Member States, integrating regional actors and aligning research, innovation and delivery, Mission Hubs can reduce fragmentation and accelerate impact.
Importantly, today’s discussion also referenced the recent ECHoS paper calling for a bold move in the next EU Framework Program for Research and Innovation.
The message was clear: if Europe is serious about accelerating progress against cancer, the next framework program must reinforce coordination, long term investment and stronger links between research, policy and health system implementation!”
