MD Anderson Cancer Center shared a post on Facebook:
“After losing multiple family members to cancer, Kevin Heyink grew up knowing his risk was high. At 48, he is part of a preventive cancer vaccine clinical trial for people with Lynch syndrome led by our Dr. Eduardo Vilar Sanchez.

“This may be an option for the next generation,” he says. “They won’t have to worry about developing cancer halfway through their lives.”
Read his story from the Today Show.”
