LUNGevity Foundation Launches Every Breath Forward to Raise Lung Cancer Awareness and Improve Lives Nationwide

LUNGevity Foundation shared on LinkedIn:

“Across the country, thousands of white flags will be on display this November to honor lives lost to lung cancer, celebrate progress, and inspire action.

For Lung Cancer Awareness Month, LUNGevity Foundation is launching Every Breath Forward, a nationwide movement bringing together survivors, families, advocates, and communities to raise awareness and advance progress against lung cancer.

From 60,000 flags on the National Mall to installations in communities nationwide, alongside partners including GO2 for Lung Cancer, Lung Cancer Initiative, Moffitt Cancer Center, Mississippi Lung Cancer Roundtable MSLCRT, The White Ribbon Project, University of Colorado Anschutz, and others.

More than 80 chapters of the The American Lung Cancer Screening Initiative (ALCSI) will also plant flags on college campuses and in communities across the country, along with individuals planting flags in their yards and neighborhoods.

Each flag honors lives lost while reminding us of the progress being made in early detection and treatment, and the work still ahead.

Be part of the movement.

Visit a display, volunteer, and make a dedication: LUNGevity Foundation Launches Every Breath Forward℠ to Advance Progress and Improve Lives Nationwide.

Thank you to our sponsors, including Boehringer Ingelheim, who make this possible.”
