Lung Cancer Europe shared a post on LinkedIn:
“At our Members’ Meeting in Budapest this weekend, Angeliki Souri, LuCE Vice-President, revealed the first insights from our 10th Report.
This is the largest global survey on lung cancer and mental health, with over 2,200 responses from 31 countries across Europe.
One early finding is deeply concerning: half of people with lung cancer told us they were never offered any form of mental health support.
Behind every number is a person whose emotional needs were overlooked. Mental health must be recognised as a vital part of lung cancer care.
The full findings will be unveiled at ESMO on 18 October in Berlin.
Tickets.”
