Lonny Yarmus, Head, Division of Subspecialty Medicine at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“After 18 extraordinary years, today marks my final day at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
Hopkins has profoundly shaped me as a physician, researcher, and leader. I’m deeply grateful to the colleagues, mentors, trainees, collaborators, and friends who made this chapter so meaningful. Together, we built programs, advanced interventional pulmonology, and continuously pushed to elevate patient care and innovation.
I’m immensely proud of what we accomplished – and even more thankful for the people who made it possible.
With excitement and humility, I now begin the next chapter at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where I’ll lead Subspecialty Medicine and continue advancing thoracic oncology and interventional pulmonary care in service of MSK’s mission to end cancer for life.
To my Hopkins colleagues – thank you. I look forward to continued collaboration and friendship in the years ahead.”
