“Global cancer prevention is shifting toward innovative, proactive approaches.
SLACOM is hosting ‘New and Innovative strategies in global cancer prevention: ultrascreening and risk reduction strategies‘ as part of London Global Cancer Week 2026.
Ultrascreening utilises cutting-edge technologies, such as liquid biopsies and multi-cancer early detection (MCED) blood tests, to identify malignancies at microscopic or asymptomatic stages and detect cancer earlier than traditional methods.
The session also looks at personalised risk assessment and targeted lifestyle interventions.
