Lindi Korpelshoek: Cutaneous Lymphoma Research – How Far the Field Has Come Through Collaboration?

Lindi Korpelshoek, PhD candidate in Dermatopathology at the Leiden University Medical Center, shared on LinkedIn:

“Last Friday’s talk on the past, present and future of the EORTC Cutaneous Lymphoma Tumour Group by prof. Willemze showed how far the field has come through collaboration. Yesterday in Berlin, I presented the results of the 2025 and 2026 EORTC histopathology meetings on ‘primary cutaneous marginal zone lymphoma/lymphoproliferative disorder’ (PCMZL/LPD) developing extracutaneous dissemination, and on IgM+ PCMZL/LPD.

Since 1991, the EORTC CLTG histopathology meetings have played a key role in the characterization and classification of cutaneous lymphomas. I am honored that we resume this collaboration, and look forward to advance rare disease research by working together.

Many thanks to all participating centers for a fruitful collaboration.”
