“For Dr. Lekha Mikkilineni, the most rewarding part of her work is seeing patients with multiple myeloma ‘get their old life back.’
Her research on CAR T-cell therapy is focused on providing deep and durable remission, allowing patients to return to the things they love – like playing tennis, traveling, and spending time with family.
Dr. Mikkilineni is a Conquer Cancer grant recipient. Her passion for science is matched by a dedication to improving the lives of people with cancer.
