Kirill Kirgizov, Deputy Director for Science and a pediatric hematologist/oncologist at the Nikolay Blokhin National Medical Research Center, shares his appointment as SIOP Asia Scientific Committee Chair for the October 2026–October 2029 term.
“SIOP is pleased to welcome Dr. Kirill Kirgizov (Russia) as SIOP Asia Scientific Committee Chair.
Dr. Kirgizov is Deputy Director for Science and a pediatric hematologist/oncologist at the Nikolay Blokhin National Medical Research Center, in its Lev Durnov Research Institute of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology. He leads the center’s bone marrow transplant program, serves as Executive Director of the Russian Society of Pediatric Oncologists and Hematologists, and founded the Eurasian School of Pediatric Oncologists and Hematologists.”
