Kefah Mokbel, Chair of Breast Cancer Surgery at London Breast Institute and Honorary Professor of Medicine at Cardiff University School of Medicine, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Honoured to be featured in the inaugural HCA UK Research Achievements 2025-2026 publication, which brings together the breadth of research across The Harley Street Clinic, The Princess Grace Hospital, Leaders in Oncology Care, Sarah Cannon Research Institute and HCA UK at University College Hospital.
The interview gave me the opportunity to reflect on the direction of breast cancer care: increasingly personalised, less invasive, and shaped by advances in systemic therapy, imaging and biomarkers. The ultimate goal remains the same – maximise cure rates while minimising treatment burden and improving quality of life.
Grateful to HCA UK for creating an environment where clinical excellence and academic activity are closely integrated, and to my collaborators at the London Breast Institute and beyond who make this work possible.”
