Karen Canfell, Lead of Cancer Elimination Collaboration (CEC) at the University of Sydney, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“In Australia, every cervical cancer is a tragedy, but thankfully rates have fallen over time due to effective screening and treatment, and we’ve recently seen the impact of vaccination in reducing rates of cervical cancer to zero in those under 25 years.

Thanks Tabby Wilson at the BBC for covering the local and global efforts to eliminate cervical cancer, and to do so equitably.”
