“Privileged to have been part of the ISMPO Indian Practice Guidelines for the Management of Periampullary Adenocarcinomas, developed under the leadership of Dr. Anant Ramaswamy.
These guidelines represent an important effort to translate available evidence into a framework that is practical, multidisciplinary, and relevant to Indian oncology practice particularly in a disease space where management often requires close coordination between medical oncology, surgical oncology, pathology, radiology, and gastroenterology.
It was especially meaningful to see the guidelines formally unveiled at ISMPOCON 2026, Bengaluru, with Dr Padmaj Kulkarni and Dr. Swaratika Majumdar opening the session.
Grateful to the entire multidisciplinary team especially Dr. Pushpendra Hirapara, Dr. Manish S. Bhandare, Dr. Gurudutt P. Varty, Dr. Advait Sonar, Dr. Subhash Yadav, Dr. Rajiv Kaushal, Dr. Akshay Baheti Dr. Aditya Kale the opportunity to contribute to this collaborative academic effort.”
