“ESMO 2026: what a few days in Madrid!
A few days ago I wrote that ESMO is more than a congress. Having lived it, I can say it delivered on every level.
What stood out for me:
The science: the pace of innovation in oncology keeps accelerating, and the data shared here will shape how we think about our portfolio for years to come.
The conversations: with clinicians, researchers, partners and peers. Some of the best ideas came from unplanned discussions in the corridors.
The perspective: stepping out of our day-to-day to see the bigger picture of where cancer care is heading, and where we can make the biggest difference for patients.
Thanks to my team: Ibtissam Marchiq, Fanny Cazade, Kristin Horton, and Zakia Rahhali Felloussi. Your energy, curiosity and commitment made this ESMO special.
A big thank you to everyone who took the time to meet and exchange with us. Let’s keep these conversations going.
We leave Madrid with ideas, new connections and even more motivation to bring the next generation of cancer medicines to patients.
Thank you, ESMO. See you next year!”
