“I am very excited to say that I have now officially defended my Master’s thesis!
Over the past year, I have been exploring how T cells can be better equipped to function within the tumour microenvironment and contribute to more effective cancer therapy.
This project started in September 2025 at the CCIT-DK – National Center for Cancer Immune Therapy of Denmark, originally planned as a 9-month Master’s thesis and later extended to 12 months through a grant from the Danish Cancer Institute.
Along the way, I attended the EACR and CRISPRmed conferences, which were fantastic opportunities to learn from the wider community and see where the field is heading.
I am deeply grateful to my supervisors, Daniel H. Madsen and Nadia Kolvig Czajkowski, for their dedicated guidance and expertise throughout the project, and to everyone at CCIT-DK for making the past year such a great experience.
With my thesis defence, I have completed my MSc in Immunology and Inflammation at the University of Copenhagen (Københavns Universitet).
I am also happy to share that, from September 2026, I will remain at CCIT-DK as a Research Assistant in Daniel’s group.
I look forward to continuing with this wonderful team and contributing to the development of more effective T-cell therapies for cancer.”
