“Cancer is often treated as a purely medical issue.
In reality, it is a systems problem.
Who gets diagnosed early?
Who reaches treatment?
Who completes care?
These are determined less by biology
and more by health systems, financing, information, and trust.
It’s high time we stopped treating cancer only in the hospitals and start fixing the systems that fail people even before they get there.
Better cancer outcomes in low – resource settings implies designing systems that work for real lives, not ideal conditions.”
