Joshua Omale, Innovation Council Member at Coalition Against Childhood Cancer (CAC2), shared on LinkedIn:
“Day 21: His life. His story. His legacy. That’s why I keep going.
Some stories never leave you.
For me, it is my brother’s. Childhood cancer took him too soon, and nothing has shaped my journey more deeply than his life, and the sad loss of it.
His story is the reason I speak, write, and keep pushing for change. It is the reason I believe no child’s chance at life should depend on where they are born, or whether their parents can afford care.
This fight will always be personal. It is his legacy that keeps me going, for the children still in treatment, the survivors building their futures, and the families carrying both hope and heartbreak.
As September moves on, my commitment doesn’t end.
I will keep raising my voice until the gold ribbon shines brighter in every corner of the world.”
