Jonathan Ticku: Congratulations to the Team on Securing Significant Funding to Advance Our Project

Jonathan Ticku, Assistant Professor of Oncology at Mayo Clinic GU Oncology Lead – Mayo Clinic Health System, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“Congratulations to my team Allison Tanner PA-C, Joshua Pritchett, and Grant Perschke on being awarded significant funding to further advance our Community Oncology Bispecific Antibody Outpatient Step Up Dosing Education and Implementation project. We recognize how competitive the grant funding is in the current environment.

I applaud Johnson & Johnson for recognizing that community oncology is essential to help lower the barrier for patients to receive bispecific antibody treatments and recognizing the value of education and clinical processes that are developed BY community oncologists, FOR community oncologists. Support of our project will lead to improvement in real world overall survival for community oncology patients- (Magestic 3 presented Monday).

I met with national leads of Johnson & Johnson this past weekend at the American Society of Hematology meeting and I was impressed with their commitment to this space.

Together with Joshua Pritchett, M.D. we established COIL-(Community Oncology Innovation Lab) which is aimed to leverage in innovative technologies in the space: wearable devices (AION Biosystems), and novel technologies for education like AI chatbots (Rishi Ticku).

Innovation happens in community oncology at Mayo Clinic Health System and Mayo Clinic. This is proof. Congrats again to the team!”
